We had a fantastic stay at this cozy, clean cottage on the Isle of Skye. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and we loved being away from the crowds in Portree. The cottage was beautifully decorated with a blend of old and new, and had fun touches of Scottish heritage. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and the views of the surrounding fields were stunning. The hosts were very responsive and provided thoughtful touches like local soaps and treats.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Loved the entertainment options like the satellite TV, CD player, and iPod docking station. Also enjoyed the nearby hiking. Free parking and WiFi were convenient. It was so thoughtful of them to soundproof the place so I could fully enjoy the tumble dryer and fireplace. The location was great, only 17 km from the airport in Benbecula and close to Raasay.
Oh, I just loved everything about it! There's absolutely nothing I didn't like.

Title: Cozy and entertaining
Oh, how I disliked the soundproofing - I just couldn't hear those annoying outside noises. What a shame!

The Skeabost Wood Cottage was a highlight of our UK trip, idyllic and cozy, we loved our experience. The location, the space, and the common areas were amazing! The downstairs half bath was a nice convenience. It was a lovely surprise to have both a washer and dryer, which made preparing for our next location much easier. The actual location of the cottage was perfect for accessing other locations on the island. We loved our stay and felt that this location was one of our favorites during our UK vacation. we highly recommend this cozy and well-equipped cottage.

Savor the tranquility of Skeabost, nestled just a few miles away from the bustling capital of Portree. This cozy and comfortable cottage offers a blend of old and new, with a touch of Scottish history and adorable Highland cow decor. The well-appointed kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, and the high-quality beds ensure a restful sleep. Enjoy views of the lush green fields for miles, and take advantage of the nearby 2 person pod for additional accommodation.
The location near the main road may detract from the peacefulness and tranquility of sitting out on the deck.
